Fields of Honor

A NEW WAY TO HONOR OUR ANCESTORS AND THOSE WHO PROVIDED HONORABLE SERVICE AND/OR AID TO THE CONFEDERACY

"Field of Honor" is for (a) direct or (b) collateral ancestors who served in Hood's Brigade. There are two levels:
     (1) $50 Donation: Information to be included:
          Full name; photo (if available) in jpg, png or gif, snapshot sized 2 x 2.5" or larger;
          Unit, company (Ex: 5th Texas, Co. A.);
          Birth Date;
          Death Date;
          Donor's name and relationship to Ancestor;
          Find a Grave Link (if available)

     (2) $100 Donation: A more expanded tribute adding a story or brief bio, plus everything in #1. (See Note 1)

"Spirit of Valor" has the same rules as "Fields of Honor." It will be a separate page on the website and an ancestor or other person can have served in any CSA unit or provided honorable service/aid to the Confederacy. "Civilian" service will be allowed—i.e. citizens providing aid, members of Confederate Congress and civilian officers.
