Conservation

* Current conservation efforts are tagged for the 4th Texas Infantry, Grimes County Grays' flag owned by Ray Richey, Texas Civil War Museum, Ft. Worth
 
* Contributed substantially to the conservation of the Stained Glass Window in honor of Hood's Texas Brigade, donated in 1902 to the Museum of the Confederacy, Richmond, by the Texas Division, United Daughters of the Confederacy. This is one of three windows presented to the MOC, Richmond, the other two being in honor of Terry's Texas Rangers and Dick Dowling.

* Conserved the First National Streamer which flew on top of the staff of the 1st Texas Flag. Presented by six young ladies from Houston, Texas, to George A. Branard, 1st Texas Infantry Color Bearer in late December 1862. The streamer was carried in many battles, notably at Gettysburg, where Branard was wounded. It was brought home from the Appomattox Courthouse in 1865 and was donated by Branard on July 1, 1896 to the Museum of the Confederacy, Richmond.
